2014 November II
New Hope School received over $2000 worth of books, most of them purchased in Addis Ababa. We focused mostly on books for grades 9 and 10. These grades were added last year to the new school by Tomorrow Come. Volunteers from Global First Responder built at least 10 large bookcases which will be used at the school, the children’s quarters and the teacher’s room. We are also happy to announce that New Hope School now has a Student Encyclopedia. It will be good reference book. Our library has started to grow and students are using the space to study and do their homework. Elementary children’s books donated by schools in Jackson, Wyoming and Wolf-point, Montana are now at the orphanage. New Hope School has now state of the art soccer goals and nets. About 12 soccer balls also brought a lot of joy to the kids.
